Made in Japan checkered tweed skirt
Item Description
The exact same fabric as the dress from the Paris collection is used. The fabric, which is particular about everything from the color to the width of the check pattern, was originally produced by JENNE and carefully crafted at a tweed fabric factory in Japan. Interlining is applied to the entire backside of the delicate and soft tweed fabric to create a three-dimensional silhouette. For the lining, we used a taut fabric that is not usually used for ordinary clothing to express a good three-dimensional effect. The process is as time-consuming as that for a dress, and craftsmen at a long-established factory in Japan spend time sewing each piece individually, resulting in a luxurious skirt that will last a lifetime. It can be worn as a set-up with the Japanese check tweed classic top (sold separately) or casually with a simple top.
